• Provide high-quality, differentiated teaching for deaf pupils using auditory/oral, BSL, or total communication approaches depending on need

• Work closely with class teachers, support staff, communication workers and external specialists to ensure pupils can participate fully in all aspects of school life

• A supportive leadership team that values your expertise

• Access to CPD, educational audiology support and opportunities to further develop your ToD specialism

• A collaborative SEND department dedicated to improving outcomes for all learners

• A qualified teacher with QTS

• A qualified and experienced Teacher of the Deaf (mandatory qualification strongly preferred)

• Someone confident in supporting deaf pupils with a range of communication needs, including BSL, speech and language development or total communication
